"Playing Up" & "Playing Down" Option
– Managers will evaluate players for their respective Division and will advise parents on any recommended “play-up” or “play-down” options.  All players must attend evaluations for the respective Season and Division, to be eligible for the Play Up or Down Option.  Parent consent is required to grant a player this option.

For example, the following lists the particular ages where a player may play  UP:
A 6 year old who has already played one year of T-Ball Majors may be drafted into Sling-pitch.
An 8 year old who has already played one year of Sling-pitch may be drafted into Minors.
A 9 or 10 year old who has already played one year of Minors may be drafted into Majors.

For example, the following lists the particular ages where a player may play DOWN:
A 6 or 7 year old who has never played T-Ball Majors before may stay in T-Ball Majors.
A 7 year old who may be a safety issue in Sling-pitch may stay in T-Ball Majors.
A 9 year old who has never played Sling-pitch before may stay in Sling-pitch.
An 11 year old who has never played Majors before may stay in Minors.
